Welcome to our blog! We caved in and decided that we should do this so that everyone can know what is going on in our lives and satisfy some of our own vanity. Plus, blogspot is just cool these days. Who knows, maybe we will start modeling the new clothes we wear every day.
That being said, we hate planning our wedding! We love each other very much and we love our families very much but seriously...I don't know how wedding planners do it. It is crazy!
Really though, it has been a lot of fun. Taking pictures and seeing our finished wedding invitations has been our favorite part of this whole process. A few weeks ago, we traveled down to Logan, UT so that our friends Rosie & Stephen could take our engagement pictures. Rosie is big with child and her awkward poses made us laugh a lot while she took pictures. There she is. A pregnant woman at work. Stephen's brother, Michael, also came and took some pictures so we felt like regular celebrities roaming the streets of urban Logan. They took some great pictures and it was a really fun day. Bethany was probably more excited than I was but once we got into it I loosened up and had a lot of fun. It wasn't as awkward as I imagined it would be.
The other big news for us is that we bought a shiny new HDTV. It is a 46" *gasp!* Sanyo 1080p hdtv and we absolutely love it. We decided it wouldn't be complete without a blu-ray player so we scooped up one of those and walked out of Wal-Mart on the verge of having a panic attack. It was scary! I got pretty tense when we got back to Bethany's apartment and couldn't figure out how to get it out of her backseat. I'm still not sure how it got in there in the first place. I briefly considered removing the door to get it out but decided to just have Bethy throw some muscle into it and out she came.
Needless to say, it has been an exciting few weeks and we are excited for the wedding. It is hard to believe that it will be here in two short months. Here are some pictures that we decided to insert with our invitations.

ReplyDeleteLoved the part about seeing your outfits on a daily basis...you should definitely do it. I also think it is cool that you start a blog together so early on. What a awesome way to do a journal/scrapbook. Welcome to the world of being even more like your sisters (now you realize how cool we really are, and that we aren't THAT bad).
